Claude++ is a browser extension that adds quality-of-life features to the claude.ai web interface. It is built to keep your data private: it has no backend and no analytics of its own. Most of what it saves stays on your device, and a small set of your settings and bookmarks use Chrome's own sync so they follow you between your signed-in Chrome browsers.
The short version: Claude++ collects no data, has no backend of its own, and has no analytics. It saves your settings and bookmarks using Chrome's built-in storage — and nothing is ever sent to us.
To do its job, Claude++ saves a small amount of information in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Some of it syncs across your Chrome browsers via chrome.storage.sync:

None of this is ever sent to a server operated by us, and we have no ability to see it. The synced items are carried between your own browsers by Chrome's built-in sync, which is part of your Google/Chrome account and handled by Google under Google's privacy policy — not by us.
Claude++ requests access to https://claude.ai/* and no other websites. Its content scripts read and enhance the claude.ai page in your browser, and observe claude.ai’s own network responses locally in order to map chats to projects. This processing happens entirely on your device.
Claude++ itself shares nothing — it has no backend and sends no data to us or to anyone we work with. The settings and bookmarks that use Chrome sync are transmitted and stored by Google as part of your own Chrome account, governed by Google's privacy policy, so that they reach your other signed-in browsers. We never receive that data and cannot see it.
When you delete a chat or project in claude.ai, anything Claude++ saved for it is deleted too. You can remove all of Claude++’s stored data at any time by removing the extension from your browser, which clears both its local and its synced storage.
Claude++ operates on top of the claude.ai interface. Your use of claude.ai itself is governed by Anthropic’s own privacy policy and terms, which are separate from this extension. Claude++ is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Anthropic.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect for new versions of the extension.
